Faith Community Liaison Program

Hospice of Frederick County invites you to become a Faith Community Liaison volunteer. The role of this volunteer is to inform and educate their congregation on Hospice. It is our hope that we can enhance the relationship between our communities of faith and Hospice of Frederick County. This special group of people meet quarterly in order to become familiar with resources and share ideas of how to support their local faith community on issues of death, dying and bereavement. Many people turn to the faith community in their time of sorrow and stress, and it is our hope that we can equip the churches to better meet the needs of their congregations.
