Financial Speed Bumps of Grief Seminar

Hospice of Frederick County’s Bereavement Program is holding Financial Speed Bumps of Grief Seminar.  The grief process is one that evokes a variety of emotional reactions, but the grief journey can also be interrupted by the “speed bumps” of often complicated and somewhat complex financial red Tape.  Financial issues can divert the grieving person from the work of grief and yet these “bumps” are necessary for progression after the death of a spouse or parent(s).  Some of the topics to be discussed during this seminar include Estate and Gift Tax Issues, Income Tax Issues, Record Retention Guidelines, Inheritance Tax Issues, and Wills.

Guest speakers include a CPA and Attorney.
The guest presenters for this seminar will be Emily Hardy of the OAO CPAs LLC and Daniel Tregoning, an attorney specializing in estate tax planning, probate, trust law, and wills.
