Hospice Taste of Gourmet Fundraising Event
Wow! Many have told us that this event is our best one yet. More than 400 people attended our 13th Annual Taste of Gourmet on April 26th at the Lynfield Event Complex. Thanks to a new and bigger building, all our guests could be together in one room, which made the event all the more special. There was plenty of laughter and nonstop conversation as everyone enjoyed catching up with friends and sampling delectable food--all in support of a very worthwhile cause.

Event highlights included great music, generously donated by Soundsations, and plenty of door prizes provided by local businesses. Our silent auction attracted lots of attention. Many guests engaged in some friendly bidding wars over the large variety of high-quality items—everything from a Lasik eye surgery to spa packages, a helicopter ride, and more. Of course, the fun didn’t stop there. At the end of the evening, we held a live auction for a catered-at-home dinner for eight, donated by A Cut Above Catering, and one dozen of Maryland crabs, donated by Liberty Seafood.
A Taste of Gourmet certainly lived up to its name, with the following restaurants and caterers graciously donating their extraordinary food and topnotch service. Framed certificates of appreciation were given to each of them for their support and generosity. Please continue to support these wonderful businesses and thank them for being such a good friend to Hospice and the community.
